Catalogue Notes
This sheet belongs to a group of 20 drawings within the artist's oeuvre depicting views in Amsterdam. Only one of these, the View on the Amstel from the Blauwbrug entered the government collections when the drawings assembled by Jacob de Vos Jnr were acquired in 1883.
